How does it work? Artists that come on board are offered to use us as their Australia independent music distributor.
Once you join, your music will be sold through MuzikFreakz as part of the Radio Active Artists catalogue. Now all your supporters, stalkers, groupies and fans can now go directly through Muzik Freakz to purchase your album either online or in-store!
How much will my soul cost? Come now, none of that!
There is an annual setup/membership cost of $35 per year.
Your album will be sold here online at www.muzikfreakz.com.au AND in-store at MuzikFreakz, Shop 2/13A Moonee Ponds VIC 3039.
For online orders we keep a 10% fee. We add an additional $4.50 postage and handling fee to the retail price. This won't effect your profits (eg, album costs $20 - $2 = $18. That's ALL YOURS - YAY!)
For in-store sales we also keep a 10% fee.
We distribute Australia wide. If your album is requested from an offshore customer, we still charge 10% . Export postage and handling fees will increase the album cost, which will be incurred by the customer. Export, postage & handling prices vary for each country.
How do I get paid? You'll get paid via bank transfer - details will be required.
Where do I sign? We proudly support the creative talents of all unsigned artists, therefore there are no contracts tying you down with us when you join 'Radio Active Artists'. Major labels are better at that lawyer jibberish game.
We'll be teary, but you can leave at anytime.
Is that it? As part of 'Radio Active', you'll be required to place an online logo on your web page(s). This will help usher fans to your Muzik Freakz online page and let others know where it can be bought. If fans don't know it's available, they won't buy, so work with us on this ok.
A button, embedded with a link to your page, will be supplied to you once you've joined the program and the album/EP is online.
NOTE: We know you probably own Photoshop, Corel Draw or (oh dear NO!) PowerPoint, however, please don't attempt to make your own graphic banners using our logo yourself. We got a brand to maintain, a reputation to stay sexy and a bundle of paper work that outlines our copyright and trademark ownership. You're feelin' me now, right? Good!
Anything else I should know? Heck YES! Over the next few months we'll be devising some crafty plans to help promote you guys. This includes e-newsletters to our subscribers plus other promo goodies and media outlets! We're also in talks with some big online music stores (not name dropping just yet), regarding digital format distribution. Soon you'll also have the additional option of having your music downloadable to a global audience!
So there you have it! There's heaps planned for our artists. You just have to get Radio Active! |
